Presbyterian/Building on Faith House Project 2006
The seventh Presbyterian Coalition/Peninsula Habitat for Humanity House was started in June 2006 at 731 Old Point Avenue in Hampton, Virginia. This house is being constructed by volunteers from Carver Memorial, Community, Denbigh, Faith, First Hampton, Hidenwood, Hilton, Jamestown, Kirkwood, Second Newport News, Stonehouse, Williamsburg, Wythe, and Yorkminster Presbyterian and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Churches. House Project Leaders are Dick Gray and Charles Miller of Denbigh Presbyterian Church. Financial support comes from those churches as well as 1st (Hampton) United Methodist Church, Sts Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, St Andrew's Episcopal, Williamsburg United Methodist Church, Union Baptist (Williamsburg), Bethel AME (Hampton), St Martin's Episcopal (Williamsburg), First United Methodist {Newport News), Hilton Baptist, Hilton Christian, St Matthew's Anglican, and Trinity Lutheran.
