YPC Relay for Life 2007

The York/Poquoson Relay for Life was held on Bailey Field (behind York High School) on Friday night, June 8, 2007. Yorkminster provided "Team Extreme" who raised over $ 9,800 to assist in the research for a cure to cancer. Featured this year was Yorkminster's Bash a Van: for $ 1, participants got a chance to smash a hammer into a van painted with names of common cancers (thanks to McPherson's Garage of Poquoson for generously donating the van and doing the prep and towing).
