Our children’s music program is designed to help kids connect with God through song. The program incorporates sequential musical education that prepares children to participate in worship services through song.  Children's Choir meets on Wednesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the choir room.  The choir is open to children ages 4 to 6th grade.  The first half of rehearsal is devoted to singing, and the second half to ringing hand chimes.  It's going to be an exciting year, and it's a great time to get involved!  Led by Lynn Kelly.

Get excited about Vacation Bible School!

VBS is offered free to all children who wish to participate.  We welcome donations!

Children begin at 9:30 a.m. in a large assembly "Extollo!" (praise) where they learn the theme and scripture for the day, and sing praise songs. They are then separated into "families" to travel around the campus to stations to play games, interact with the Apostle Paul in his prison, visit with Christians in an underground church, and spend coins in the marketplacei. They return to the large Extollo! to go over what they have learned.  Parents and younger siblings can join in the Extollo.  Children will be ready for pick up at 12:00. We hope you will join us!

This summer is exciting because we are creating a Roman Marketplace.  Kids will have three coins per day to spend on activities of their choosing, including leather-working, metal-working, carpentry, architecture, a food shop and other fun.

Adult Volunteers: It takes a whole lot of people to make this event successful, and it's fun!  There are lots of roles, from making decorations and getting everything ready ahead of time, to drama or preparing snacks or shepherding kids through activities.  Please let us know your availability by filling out the volunteer form.  Nursery is provided for children of volunteers.

Youth Volunteers: Middle schoolers will serve as our "Tech Team," working with Pastor Mike to take great pictures of all the fun for the slide shows.  High schoolers can volunteer to help with the families, as well as helping to design the decorations and facilitate activities.  Youth who will be able to help with the week should fill out the volunteer form.

Children’s Church time provides an alternative to adult worship for our young children ages 4 - 1st grade. After the "Time for Young Disciples" during the Sunday worship service, children will be met and escorted by an adult leader at the Sanctuary doors to room 10. During this time children learn the order of worship, and in a child-friendly way, put meaning to giving praise to God in a worship setting.
